These all-natural, easy to make and economical dog biscuits can be made using your bread machine. They're fun to make and your dog will love em! One chicken bouillon cube 3/4 cup boiling water 1 egg 3 tbsp canola oil 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 cup bleached flour 1/3 cup bulghur wheat 1/3 cup wheat germ 1/3 cup wheat bran 1/4 cup powered skim milk 1 tsp garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast Disolve the bouillon cube in the boiling water. Set aside to cool. Put all ingredients into the bread machine placing the yeast in last. Mix on dough cycle. After the mixture rises, roll out 1/4 inches thick and cut into your favorite shapes (Remember, dogs love bones!) Rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Bake at 325' for 30 minutes. Cool and store in a non-air-tight container. |
