FAQ Why does my dog smell funny when he comes back home? When we bring back your little guy, you're smelling a combination of dog, cleaning solutions and the great outdoors. When you are around your dog all the time, you tend not to notice his um, er, natural odour. At our kennels, dogs can go inside and outside all day long if they want to (all night too!!). A lot of normal house-dogs spend a lot of their time outside - outside dogs smell different than inside dogs. Plus we thoroughly clean the kennels every day with disinfectant solutions.
